Position Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Competitive Rate: $50/hr. -$ 60/hr.
Overtime: 1.5% multiplier for over 40 hours per week.
Additional Pay: Charge Nurse ($3.00), On Call ($5.00), Call Back (1.5%), and Holiday Pay (1.5%).
Location: La Junta, CO
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks

Overview:

An opportunity has arisen for dedicated nursing professionals in our Labor and Delivery unit. This role is an excellent fit for both experienced nurses and first-time travelers seeking a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Care: Provide care through all stages including Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Newborn/Nursery.
Patient Ratios: Ensure optimal care with early labor at 2:1, active labor at 1:1, and couplets at 2:1 ratios.
Additional Duties: Perform outpatient Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) and manage varying birth rates per month (10-25).

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field; openness to float within the hospital.
Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Heart Monitoring.
Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only); Flu Vaccine status unknown.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive Rate: $50/hr. -$ 60/hr. per hour base pay rate.
Overtime: 1.5% multiplier for over 40 hours per week.
Additional Pay: Charge Nurse ($3.00), On Call ($5.00), Call Back (1.5%), and Holiday Pay (1.5%).
Holidays Observed: New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (7:00 PM day before - 7:00 AM day after each holiday).
