Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift - Austin, TX

Salary: $32.39- $47.40 per hour, based on experience.
Differentials: Weekend Differential: $4/hour.
Shift: 7P-7A, with consideration for a 4x10 schedule.

Position Overview:

Shift: 7P-7A, with consideration for a 4x10 schedule.
Position Type: Perm Contingent
Reason for Vacancy: Position Open

Job Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments, devise care plans, and ensure effective implementation and evaluation.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for safe and accurate care delivery.
Conduct age-appropriate assessments upon patient arrival to the surgical suite.
Support during anesthesia induction or prepare patients for local anesthesia.
Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
Execute correct surgical preps and accurately document patient care.
Demonstrate expertise across surgical specialties and equipment.
Commit to ongoing professional development and assist with new employee orientation.
Complete annual departmental competencies.

Qualifications:

Experience:
- At least 1 year in an operating room environment.
- Recent 1-year experience in acute care.
Education:
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Valid Texas RN License or Compact License (must obtain Texas license within 90 days if Compact).
- BLS Certification as per policy.
- ACLS Certification preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $32.39- $47.40 per hour, based on experience.
Differentials:
- Weekend Differential: $4/hour.
