Your Role as a CT Technologist Responsibilities 

As a CT Technologist , you’ll perform advanced imaging procedures to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Imaging Procedures:

  • Perform CT scans and radiology procedures with precision, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
  • Provide imaging services to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in both hospital and free-standing emergency department (FSED) settings.

• Patient Care:

  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety, explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
  • Maintain a professional and compassionate rapport with patients, families, and medical staff.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Adhere to strict quality control standards and protocols to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and verify imaging outcomes.

• Equipment Maintenance:

  • Operate and maintain state-of-the-art CT equipment, troubleshooting minor issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines, including radiation safety protocols.

• Shift Flexibility:

  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and mixed schedules, to meet the needs of the facility.
  • May be required to work at multiple locations, including the hospital and FSED.

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: $27.42–$36.95/hour, heavily based on years of experience.
• Shift Differentials:
  • Evenings: $2.00/hour
  • Nights: $3.75/hour
  • Weekends: $3.50/hour (applies only if it’s your regularly scheduled shift)

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience: At least 1 year of CT experience required. Acute care experience is not mandatory for hospital roles but is required for FSED opportunities.
• Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Certifications:
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
  • ARRT (R) & (CT) registry preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Skills: Strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
