Location: Gainesville, FL
Schedule: Night Shifts (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:

2 years of experience: $30.69/hour
5 years of experience: $33.71/hour
17+ years of experience: $43.20/hour

Shift Differentials:

Nights: $4.25/hour
Weekends: $3.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview:

Join the Inpatient Surgical Unit at a state-of-the-art medical center in Gainesville, FL. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The unit is part of the Med-Surg team and requires professionals skilled in managing patient care across a variety of surgical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in a 45-bed inpatient surgical unit.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and ensure continuity of care.
Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 7:1, demonstrating efficiency and clinical expertise.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 4 years) acute care RN experience.
Licensure: Current Florida RN license or an RN Compact license with the ability to obtain FL licensure within 90 days of hire.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
