Job Responsibilities:

Conduct a full range of laboratory tests in areas such as blood bank, chemistry, microbiology, hematology, coagulation, and body fluids.
Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on laboratory equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment and assays.
Analyze and interpret test results to provide accurate and timely information for patient care.
Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental standards and practices.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss patient results and diagnostics.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Position Details:

Title: Medical Technologist / MT
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shifts Available:
- Days: 3 am - 11 am (Monday – Friday)
- Nights: 6 pm - 6 am (various days including weekends)
Location: Denton, Texas

Qualifications:

Acute care experience as an MT is essential.
MT/MLS/CLS certification required, preferably with ASCP as an MT (candidates with MLT certification and relevant experience may also be considered).
Current license from states that require it.
Bachelor’s degree (or to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
