Shifts Available: Evening and Night Shifts (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation

  • Less than 1 year: $27.42/hour

  • 2–3 years: $29.89/hour

  • 4–5 years: $31.12/hour

  • 6–7 years: $32.36/hour

  • 9–10+ years: $33.59/hour

  • 16+ years: $36.95/hour

Shift Differentials:

  • Nights: +$3.25/hour

  • Weekends: +$2.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (available for evening and night shifts)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in Gainesville, FL. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced, innovative acute care environment. You'll play a vital role in treating patients across a variety of critical care units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer routine and advanced respiratory therapy treatments

  • Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) tests

  • Monitor and document patient responses and therapeutic effectiveness

  • Manage respiratory therapy equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members

  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory care plans and equipment use

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience (preferably in acute care settings such as ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care)

    • Home care or long-term care experience may be considered

  • Licensure: Current Florida Respiratory License

  • Certifications:

    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – required

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – required at hire

    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 30 days of hire

    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 30 days of hire

    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – within 30 days of hire
