Pay: $27.09 - $32.51/hr, based on experience
Night Shift Differential: $4/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Perform laboratory testing with precision, ensuring timely and accurate results.
Maintain quality control protocols and resolve discrepancies in testing or calibration.
Interpret and correlate patient results, taking independent actions when necessary.
Complete all required records and documentation for patient results.
Assist with the resolution of pending logs and outstanding workload.
Demonstrate proficiency in lab procedures and stat tests within established timeframes.

Requirements:

Education: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology preferred.
Licensure: State of Florida Medical Technologist License required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical setting is preferred (recent blood bank experience is a must). New graduates are welcome to apply.
Specialties: Generalist license preferred, or licensure in 3+ of the following areas: Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology.
