Job Title: IR/Special Procedures Technologist
Location: St. Petersburg, FL 33709
Shift: Full-Time with flexible hours
Salary: $62,400-$87,360/year based on experience.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IR/Special Procedures Technologist to join our team in the Interventional Radiology department. As an IR Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures while maintaining effective communication within the Special Procedures team. Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competency in all diagnostic and standard interventional radiology procedures.
- Communicate effectively as an active member of the Special Procedures team.
- Follow established standards and practices under the direction of the radiologist, invasive cardiologist, and/or vascular surgeon.
- Participate in the on-call schedule as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid ARRT certification.
- Clear and active Florida state licensure (CRT).
- Completion of an Associate Degree or 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology.
- Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift and carry patients, objects, and equipment (up to 75 lbs force and/or up to 25 lbs frequently).
