Overview
We are seeking an experienced EP Lab Manager (RN) to lead a nationally recognized Electrophysiology program in Austin, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to oversee one of the largest and most advanced EP departments in the region—home to six fully operational labs with a seventh in development. Join a team that specializes exclusively in electrophysiology, innovation, and research, delivering exceptional outcomes in cardiac arrhythmia care.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of all EP Labs, pre- and post-procedure areas, and the AFIB Center.
Direct and mentor nursing and technical staff, ensuring optimal patient flow and clinical quality.
Supervise 50+ FTEs including supervisors and clinical coordinators.
Maintain compliance with nursing standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Manage departmental budgets, supply inventory, and resource allocation.
Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development and education.
Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Support ongoing research and advanced mapping system integration (Carto, Abbott Precision, Boston Arrhythmia, etc.).
Qualifications
Required:
Active RN license (Texas or Compact state).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum 3 years of acute care or procedural leadership experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications (current).
Preferred:
Previous management experience in Electrophysiology, Cath Lab, or Cardiac Services.
Advanced understanding of cardiac mapping technologies and EP procedural workflow.
