Pay Range: $47.30 – $65.20/hour (based on experience)

Overview
Join a leading acute care hospital in Southern New Hampshire as an RN Manager of the Medical-Surgical Unit. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a 29-bed unit focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate is a collaborative nurse leader with a strong med-surg or telemetry background and a commitment to patient safety, staff development, and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations including scheduling, patient flow, and rounding
Supervise and evaluate clinical staff, conducting performance reviews and development plans
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention initiatives
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, hospital, and nursing standards
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Monitor quality metrics, audits, and patient satisfaction
Assist with departmental budgeting and resource management
Support continuous improvement through evidence-based practice and staff education
Qualifications
Required:
Active RN license (NH or Compact)
1–3 years of recent acute care leadership experience in a Med-Surg or Telemetry unit
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience managing teams in a 20+ bed acute unit
Demonstrated success in quality improvement and staff engagement initiatives
