We are seeking compassionate and skilled Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Independence, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to provide critical care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Shifts Available:

• Day and Night shifts with rotating weekends

About the Role:
As a Cardiac Telemetry RN, you will care for patients experiencing acute cardiac conditions. Your responsibilities include continuous cardiac monitoring, ECG interpretation, patient assessment, and response to emergencies.

Unit Details:

• 36-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:

  • Day Shift: 4–5:1

  • Night Shift: 5–6:1

• Patient Conditions:

  • Chest Pain, Stroke, COPD, Post-Op, GI, Arrhythmias, Drips, and more

• Growth Focus: Strong leadership development and paths toward ICU/Critical Care advancement

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care in accordance with hospital policies

• Monitor patients requiring cardiac telemetry and step-down care

• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff

• Interpret clinical data to guide treatment decisions

• Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-acuity settings

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required

• Education: Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited program

• Licensure:

  • Current RN license in Missouri or compact state

• Certifications:

  • BLS required upon hire

  • ACLS required within 1 year
