Position Overview: Join our Medical Center in Panama City, FL, a leading 223-bed acute care hospital that has been serving Bay County and surrounding regions for 40 years. We are hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Unit.

Our hospital is recognized as a Joint Commission Top Performer and has achieved notable certifications in stroke and wound care. As the only facility in the area with a dedicated Pediatric ER, Pediatric ICU, and 28-bed NICU, we are fully equipped to care for our younger residents. Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care in line with the policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
Ensure effective patient management and care delivery.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Licensure: Active FL RN license or equivalent (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license).
Certifications: BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
Skills: Effective listening and critical thinking, ability to make decisive judgments in a fast-paced environment, and physical ability to manage patients and/or equipment (up to 50 pounds).
