Compensation: $85 per hour (based on experience) + Up to 15% annual performance bonus

Job Summary

The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for planning, leading, and managing the department to ensure 24/7 high-quality patient care. This role includes overseeing staff performance, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory policies, fostering collaboration among healthcare providers, and optimizing resources to enhance efficiency while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Cardiovascular Services department.
• Lead and manage a team of 20 FTEs, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff development.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to enhance satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with hospital, corporate, and regulatory standards.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Optimize resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Acute Care Director of Cardiovascular Services required.
• Manager-level experience in a cardiovascular unit considered with extensive experience.
• Cath Lab Director or Manager experience required.
• RCVT certification preferred.

Department Overview

• 4 labs with a Neurointerventional Suite with Biplane Angiography.
• Electrophysiology (EP) and Echocardiography services.
• Team of 20 FTEs.
