Job Summary and Qualifications

We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a full-time night shift role. Key Responsibilities

  • 🏥 Provide high-quality patient care in alignment with the hospital's philosophy and objectives.
  • 📜 Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients, meeting all performance, nursing practice, and care standards.
  • 🩺 Assess and reassess patient condition, develop a care plan, and initiate discharge planning upon admission.
  • 🌟 Uphold current nursing standards, clinical competency, and National Patient Safety Goals, applying critical thinking skills and facility policies to prioritize and problem-solve.
  • 👥 Meet patients' and families' needs with effective communication while following the "Patients First Service" approach.
  • ⏰ Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and dependability, including adherence to the attendance policy, and utilize time and resources cost-effectively.
  • 📚 Continuously develop professionally, provide leadership, and actively participate in Performance Improvement Activities. Provide guidance to others as needed.
  • 🏢 Reflect HCA values, ethical principles, and compliance standards in daily activities (Code of Conduct).

Qualifications

  • 🏥 Acute Care or Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
  • 🩺 Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • 📜 Current Georgia RN licensure or compact license.
  • 🩺 Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • 🩺 ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • 🌟 Certification in a specialty area preferred.
