Job Title: CT Tech - Radiology / Cardiology

Salary: $50/hr

Location: Glen Burnie, MD 21061

Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: renewable contract

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CT Tech to join our Radiology/Cardiology department. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing CT scans and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities:

Operate CT scan equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Administer contrast materials, as needed, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
Perform CT scans following established protocols and adjust technical factors to ensure optimal image quality.
Evaluate CT scans for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines and protocols.
Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on CT equipment.
Assist in the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments.
Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient satisfaction throughout the imaging process.

Requirements:

Valid certification as a CT Technologist.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech, preferably in a hospital setting.
Proficiency in operating CT scan equipment and associated software.
Excellent understanding of radiation safety protocols.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
