Job Description: Join our team at a prominent medical center in Dallas, Texas, offering a 796-bed tertiary care center. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Room department. As an RN in our ER, you will provide high-quality, individualized care to our patients in accordance with ANA standards. Our facility is a pioneer in minimally invasive surgery and offers a range of specialties, including rehabilitation, heart and vascular care, women's services, and cutting-edge cancer treatment. Shifts:

Full Time Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Organize, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain the plan of care for Emergency Department patients.
Provide individualized, family-centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care.
Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, and completion of performance evaluations.
Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire
TNCC and ENPC certifications required within 18 months
CEN and/or CPEN preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience in an acute care setting required
Experience in a larger facility or free-standing ED is a plus
