Job Summary and Responsibilities

As the ICU Manager, you'll be a crucial part of our healthcare team, responsible for:

🏥 Planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily operations of the ICU department.
🌟 Ensuring the highest quality of care is provided, in line with current Federal, State, and local standards.
👥 Supervising and leading the ICU team, demonstrating leadership aptitude and qualities.
📜 Collaborating with the Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer.
📊 Overseeing compliance with regulations and standards governing the hospital.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

🎓 Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree required.
📜 Current RN license by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California.
🚑 Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR Card.
🏥 Current ACLS (if responsible for Critical Care).
🔍 Certifications may be obtained within the first six months of hire with prior CNO approval.
👥 Minimum of one year experience in specialty; 3 years preferred.
🌟 Supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership aptitude, competency, and qualities.
