Salary Range: $92,664 – $139,006/year (based on experience)

A top-tier healthcare facility in the Kingwood area is hiring a Director of Pediatric Emergency Services to lead a dedicated pediatric ER team. This opportunity combines leadership responsibility with direct oversight of a 10-bed pediatric emergency department that serves 40,000 visits annually. The Director will report directly to the VP of Emergency Services and lead a team of Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) and 42 FTEs.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Pediatric Emergency Department
Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across all shifts and staff
Oversee staffing, performance improvement, compliance, and quality outcomes
Collaborate with senior leadership on department growth and innovation
Lead a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, academic environment

Qualifications:

BSN – Required
Minimum 3+ years of recent leadership experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department within an acute care hospital – Required
Strong track record of leading teams and driving performance metrics
