Radiology Technologist - Osceola

Position Details:

In this role, you will work under the direction of the Radiologist, performing computerized tomography scans on various body parts to assist the medical staff in detecting abnormalities. As a Radiology Technologist, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, ranging from critically ill pediatric to geriatric patients. Your dedication to understanding the functional/developmental age of each individual will ensure exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Perform computerized tomography scans on patients as ordered by medical providers
Collaborate with the medical team to detect and analyze abnormalities
Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient safety during procedures
Record and maintain accurate patient data and medical records
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions
Continuously update knowledge and skills in radiology technology through professional development and training

Qualifications:

Education: Vocational School Graduate of an approved School of Radiology or Associate Degree
License/Certification: Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) at hire or transfer, Florida State HRS General Radiography license, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Experience: No experience required. New Grads are Welcome! Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
