Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging RN PRN to join our team. Your primary function is to care for patients preparing for imaging and diagnostic procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. In this role, you will:
- Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc.
- Operate Cardiac CTA- administer Nitroglycerin and Metoprolol.
- Administer Glucagon to CT enterography.
- Administer Lasix.
- Place Foley Catheters.
- Access Port-a-Cath and de-access with Heparin per protocol.
- Start IV in difficult sticks.
- Monitor outpatients who have a pacemaker or defibrillator.
Education:
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing Required, Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
License/Certifications:
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
- BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required.
- ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of hire.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology Lab or critical care (ICU) experience required.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Administer moderate sedation for CT guided biopsies, drains, etc.

Details:
- On-call is required (must be within 30 minutes from the facility).
- Typically do 6-8 cases/day.
- Hours: 4 10's; start times vary; On Call - 9 or 10 times in the month weekdays and 1-2 weekend rotations.
