Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 17:30)

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract
Salary: $2,760-$3,220/week
We are currently seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology/Cardiology department. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing specialized imaging procedures and assisting in interventional radiology treatments. If you have a minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology and possess the required skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Assist physicians during procedures by preparing the sterile field, monitoring patient vital signs, and providing necessary supplies and equipment.
- Operate and maintain radiographic and other imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Position patients accurately for procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast media and medications under the direction of the physician.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure proper technique and image quality.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, documenting any adverse reactions or complications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
- Experience with neuro procedures is required.
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT.
- BLS certification is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for on-call duties during the week, including backup call approximately twice a week, and primary call at least one weekend per month.
