Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Baltimore, MD 21215

Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Employment Type: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,052-$2,394/week

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. As an ER Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an ER Nurse looking to make a positive impact and work alongside a supportive team.

Responsibilities:

Perform initial assessments and triage patients based on their conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and treatment progress.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Assist in emergency medical procedures and provide support during resuscitation efforts.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient records.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Requirements:

Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in an emergency room setting
Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule, including every other weekend and holidays.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Full vaccination against COVID-19 as required by facility guidelines (medical/religious exemptions only)
