Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Omak, WA 98841

Shift: 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) OR (18:45 - 07:15)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $1,944-$2,268/week

We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Medical Surgical unit in Omak, WA. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their well-being and recovery. Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' conditions, create individualized care plans, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth transitions between departments.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, response to treatment, and any changes in their condition.
  • Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions to stabilize patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and promote patients' well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical surgical setting.
  • BCLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications are required.
  • Ability to work day shifts, 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15), including weekdays and some weekends.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical surgical nursing practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and provide efficient and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Note: Experience in travel nursing is not required - first-time travelers are welcome to apply. COVID-19 vaccine required as per facility guidelines, with medical/religious exemptions only.
