Shift: Nights (7P-7A) with rotating weekends

About the Role: Located in the heart of Plano, our 603-bed full-service facility boasts over 2,070 dedicated employees and 1,466 top-tier physicians. We're proud to offer a diverse range of specialties and a community of professionals passionate about healthcare.

This role places you in our Neuro Trauma ICU, a bustling 34-bed unit. We pride ourselves in being a Magnet Facility, with the highest acuity situations and a rapid pace, serving a multitude of critical conditions including TBIs, spinal injuries, strokes, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
Administer prescribed medications, manage dressings, and monitor vital signs.
Collaborate across all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Educate and guide patients and their families.
Ensure age and culturally appropriate care.
Mentor and orient new team members, ensuring the highest standard of care.

Qualifications:

BSN Required. However, if you have an ADN, an online tuition-free ADN to BSN program is available!
TX RN or Compact State Licensure.
ACLS, BLS, and PALS (within 6 months) certifications.
CCRN preferred. NIHSS Stroke Certification required within 90 days.
At least 1 year of ICU experience in an acute care setting; 2 years preferred. Neuro ICU experience is a plus.
Must have ventilator and drip experience.

Shift Differentials: Extra $3.75/hr for nights and $4.30/hr for weekends.
