Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Full-Time
Location: Fort Pierce, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Days, Evenings, Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
Shift Options: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Range: $30.34 – $42.47/hr (Based on years of experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team in a high-acuity acute care setting. This role performs a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. You will work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment equipped with advanced medical technologies and support from experienced healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with ALARA standards 
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging studies 
- Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of imaging equipment 
- Monitor patient conditions and reactions to medications, promptly reporting adverse events 
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, films, and results 
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care delivery 
Qualifications Required:
- Registered with either the ARRT (Nuclear) or NMTCB – Required 
- Florida State Radiologic Technologist License – Required 
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine – Required 
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment
