Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Duration: 13-Week Renewable Contract

Salary: $1,620-$1,890/week

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our PCU, you will provide specialized care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment. You will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and intervene as necessary.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatments, and self-care techniques.
Ensure proper documentation of patient information and maintain accurate and timely records.
Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate interventions.
Float to three hospitals within a 20-mile radius as needed.

Requirements:

Valid RN license in the state of Florida
Minimum of 18 months of PCU experience (2 years preferred)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must have at the time of submittal)
NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
Experience with EPIC charting preferred.
Ability to float to different hospitals within a 20-mile radius.
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
