Job Title: Experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse Opportunity in Downtown Baltimore

Pay rate of $50-$60 per hour

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for our Neuro Step Down unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center in downtown Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro nursing, possess excellent critical thinking skills, and have the flexibility to float within the organization as needed. This position offers a 13-week assignment with Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Responsibilities:

Provide expert care for patients in the Neuro Step Down unit
Monitor and interpret patient data, vital signs, and neurological status
Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg nursing with a focus on neuro patients
Active MD or Compact License
American Heart BLS and ACLS certifications
Flexibility to float within the hospital as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
