Location: Marion, IN 46952

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) AND rotating weekends

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: $1,922-$2,243/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an MS/Tele Float RN. As an MS/Tele Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various units, including Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Rehabilitation. Join our dedicated healthcare team and contribute to providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Rehabilitation units.
Monitor patients' vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and observe telemetry readings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Assess and document patients' conditions, progress, and responses to treatments.
Perform ongoing assessments and communicate changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Assist in patient education, providing information about medications, treatments, and self-care.
Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
Previous experience in float nursing and travel assignments is required.
Active RN license in the state of Indiana.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Flexibility to work every other weekend.
