Duties and Responsibilities: RN ICU

Plan and provide individual goal directed nursing care that promotes, advocates for, and strives to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family and community.

Possess knowledge of the principles of growth and development and the particular skills necessary to provide optimum patient care to the ICU

Accountability for their practice and care coordination. P

Practice autonomously utilizing evidence based practices.

The practice of the Registered Nurse will support the mission, vision and values of Medical City Frisco – A Medical City Plano Facility and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.

Licensure/Certifications:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Compact license is accepted.

Current Healthcare Provider ACLS and BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.

Education:

ADN - REQUIRED

BSN Highly preferred

Experience:

MUST have a minimum of 1 Year ICU experience in an acute care setting - 2 YEARS PREFERRED

2 Years Nursing Experience

MUST have acute care experience in a HOSPITAL

Salary Range:

Differential: Nights $3.75 - Weekend $4.20 per hour

Sign On Bonus: UPTO a $10,000 - 2yr commitment

Relocation: $3,000 - 2yr commitment
