Your Role as a CT Technologist

As a CT Technologist , you’ll perform advanced imaging procedures to support accurate diagnoses and patient care. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Imaging Procedures:

  • Perform all requested CT scans with precision, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
  • Provide imaging services to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases across all age groups.

• Patient Care:

  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining processes clearly to alleviate concerns.
  • Maintain a professional and compassionate rapport with patients, families, and medical staff.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Adhere to strict quality control standards and protocols to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and verify imaging outcomes.

• Equipment Maintenance:

  • Operate and maintain state-of-the-art CT equipment, troubleshooting minor issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with fellow technologists, nurses, and physicians to provide seamless patient care.
  • May be required to work at multiple facilities within the healthcare network, including hospitals and free-standing emergency departments.

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience: At least 1 year of CT experience required (acute care experience not mandatory).
• Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Certifications:
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
  • ARRT (R) & (CT) registry preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills.
