Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,712-$3,164/week

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Glens Falls, NY. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will perform various radiologic procedures under the guidance and supervision of radiologists or cardiologists. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic images and assisting with interventional procedures. Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist radiologists or cardiologists during interventional procedures.
Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
Operate radiographic equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care.
Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols.
Participate in on-call rotations, including one weekend a month, 1-2 weeknights call, and at least 1 summer holiday call. Additional compensation will be provided for holiday calls.

Requirements:

Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays.
Must have a valid COVID-19 vaccination with no exemptions.
