Compensation:

Salary Range: $142,958 – $214,448 (based on experience)
Annual Bonus: 15% Performance Incentive
Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview:

A leading healthcare organization in Kingwood, TX is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Emergency Services to oversee a comprehensive emergency department network. This includes adult and pediatric ERs, as well as three freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs). The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong clinical background and a passion for operational excellence and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive leadership for all emergency care operations
Drive strategic planning, patient experience, and performance outcomes
Lead and develop a team of approximately 160 FTEs across multiple ER settings
Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and financial standards
Collaborate with hospital executives and physician leadership on growth initiatives
Oversee department budgets, throughput, and labor efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Master’s degree preferred (MSN, MHA, MBA, or related field)
Current and active RN license (Texas or Compact)
Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience in a high-volume acute care ER (50,000+ annual visits)
BLS certification required
