Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Administrative Director of Emergency Services to lead one of the region’s busiest emergency departments, spanning a main 52-bed ED and two free-standing EDs. With more than 80,000 annual visits, this high-profile leadership role requires expertise in trauma operations, performance improvement, and strategic growth. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple emergency department sites. 
- Oversee ~150 FTEs including directors, managers, and clinical staff. 
- Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centered emergency care. 
- Drive quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness. 
- Manage budgets, labor resources, and cost-efficiency strategies. 
- Foster a culture of accountability, staff engagement, and professional development. 
- Lead patient experience initiatives and promote service excellence across departments. 
- Partner with hospital executives and physician leaders to expand and enhance emergency service lines. 
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3+ years of recent acute care ED leadership (Director or Manager level) 
- Bachelor’s degree required (BSN strongly preferred) 
- Active RN license in Texas or Compact state 
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field 
- Prior leadership in Level II Trauma centers or large, multi-site ED operations 
- National certification (CEN, CCRN, or equivalent) 
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $116,251 – $174,366/year (based on experience) 
- 17.5% annual performance bonus
