  • Role: Med-Surg RN

  • Shifts: Nights, with Rotating Weekends

Job Summary: As a Med-Surg RN, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient care, encompassing observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You'll work in a dynamic environment where your skills in health teaching, counseling, and wellness promotion will make a real difference.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and health progress.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide patient and family education on post-hospital care and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with hospital standards.
  • Respond to patient emergencies with appropriate interventions.
 

Qualifications:

  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
  • Recent acute care Med-Surg experience mandatory
  • Current FL State RN license or compact licensure
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
