Shifts: Nights, with Rotating Weekends

Job Summary: As a Med-Surg RN, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient care, encompassing observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You'll work in a dynamic environment where your skills in health teaching, counseling, and wellness promotion will make a real difference.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and health progress.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Provide patient and family education on post-hospital care and lifestyle adjustments.
Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with hospital standards.
Respond to patient emergencies with appropriate interventions.

Qualifications:

Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
Recent acute care Med-Surg experience mandatory
Current FL State RN license or compact licensure
BLS and ACLS certifications
