Location: Ocala, FL

Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)

  • Mixed Shift Options Available

Compensation:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $30.60 – $45.90 (based on experience)

  • Shift Differentials: +$4.25/hr (Nights)

  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (Nights) | $10,000 (Days)

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

About the Role
We are currently hiring a skilled and compassionate Emergency RN to join the team at our Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) in Ocala, FL. This position is ideal for RNs who thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments and are looking to make a meaningful impact in a tight-knit, high-functioning team.

This standalone 12-bed emergency department is supported by one of the region's most advanced Level I Trauma Centers and Comprehensive Stroke Centers, ensuring robust backup and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages presenting with emergency medical conditions

  • Provide timely, individualized nursing care in critical and non-critical situations

  • Collaborate with physicians and emergency staff to stabilize and treat patients

  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment, and follow-up care

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

  • Comply with hospital and regulatory safety standards

  • Participate in quality improvement and continued education efforts

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of recent acute care RN experience required (ER, ICU, or PCU preferred)

  • Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact RN license

  • Required Certifications (may be obtained after hire):

    • BLS (American Heart Association) – within 30 days

    • ACLS (AHA) – within 90 days

    • PALS or ENPC – within 90 days

    • TNCC – within 6 months

    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – within 6 months

  • Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

  • Paramedic background is a plus
