Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift - Austin, TX

$32.39- $47.40 per hour (based on experience).
Additional Pays:
- $3 specialty pay.
- $4 differential for night shifts.

Position Overview:

Shift: 7P-7A with rotating weekends.
Type: Perm Contingent
Reason: Vacant Position

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as an advocate for patients and their families.
Consistently apply and utilize the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and leadership.
Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
Role model confidence and professionalism; actively engage in unit and organizational activities.
Deliver nursing care services in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Core Duties:

Conduct comprehensive, timely, and ongoing physical, psycho-social, and pain assessments.
Create individualized care plans, incorporating family and patient education needs.
Prioritize and implement efficient nursing care plans.
Conduct timely evaluations, recognize changes in patient conditions, and adjust care plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
Licensure/Certification:
- Valid Texas RN License
- BLS Certification
Experience:
- At least 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed RN.
- A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in the Intensive Care Unit at an acute care facility (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $32.39- $47.40 per hour (based on experience).
Additional Pays:
- $3 specialty pay.
- $4 differential for night shifts.
