Location: Fort Worth Area, TX
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (Day Shift, No Weekends)
Leadership Incentive Bonus: 15%–22.5%

Position Overview
A rapidly growing emergency department in North Texas is hiring a Director of Emergency Services to lead the main ED and two freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs). This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven ER leader to make a measurable impact on performance, patient flow, and care quality in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee clinical operations of a 21-bed main ED and two off-campus FSEDs
Lead, coach, and support a team of ~75 FTEs, including ER managers and frontline staff
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the engaged ED Medical Director to strengthen teamwork and efficiency
Monitor and optimize throughput, staffing, and patient satisfaction
Implement process improvements to reduce door-to-doc times and enhance care delivery
Drive strategic growth and trauma readiness in coordination with executive leadership
Promote staff development, retention, and leadership training initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business preferred
Active RN license in Texas or compact-eligible state
Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Director of Emergency Services in a similar acute care setting
Experience with performance metrics, multi-site operations, and leadership development
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either PALS or ENPC required
Department Overview
Main ED: 21 beds | 100–120 patients/day
FSED – Saginaw: 12 beds | 60–100 patients/day (seasonal variation)
FSED – Haslet: 12 beds | 22 patients/day
Trauma Designation: Level III, with Level II planning underway
