PCU RN (Nights) - Irving, TX

  • Salary range: $30-$46/hr based on experience.
  • Night Shift Differential: $3.75/hr.
  • Weekend Differential: $4.30/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

  • Assess, diagnose, and document patient conditions and needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient treatment planning.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Monitor patient recovery and provide updates to medical staff.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care.
  • Supervise LVN's and non-licensed nursing staff.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols.

Position Summary: As a PCU RN with our team, you'll provide direct nursing care in line with our center's policies. Your role will encompass patient assessment, care planning, intervention evaluation, and supervising LVN's and non-licensed staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    • ADN (Required)
    • BSN (Preferred)
  • Licenses:
    • Texas State Licensure as RN (Compact license accepted; TX State license required within 30 days of hire).
    • ACLS and BLS Certification.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years acute PCU RN nursing with at least 1 year of Cardiac experience.
    • Recent acute care experience within the last year.
