Job Summary and Qualifications

As an OR Registered Nurse, you'll play a crucial role in our interdisciplinary team environment. Your expertise will positively impact our patients' lives, and we're excited to welcome dedicated professionals like you to our Surgical Services team. Here's what you can expect from being an OR Registered Nurse with us:

Utilize your specialized OR Nurse skills to serve specific age groups, such as adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.
Prepare for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment are available in your assigned areas.
Assist with post-procedure workload, including room cleaning, putting away supplies, and preparing for the next procedure.
Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person, delegating tasks based on the competency level of all staff members.
Have the opportunity to rotate to other areas within the facility, performing duties that you have demonstrated competency in.

What qualifications you will need:

Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the perioperative (OR) setting is required.
CNOR certification preferred.

Additional Information:

Types of Services: Neuro, Ortho, Vascular, Plastics, Robotics, General, Spine, GYN, Urology. Rose Medical has a high volume of elective surgeries.

Shift: Full Time Days (8s, 10s & 12s). RNs are scheduled until 7 PM due to the elective nature of cases, with the call team covering anything that comes in after 7 PM. Backup call 4 weekends/year.

Total of 23 OR Suites.
Facility Size: 422 Beds.
