Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Duration: 13-week Renewable Contract

Salary: $2,117-$2,470/week

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room (ER) team in Saratoga Springs, NY. As an ER Nurse, you will provide compassionate and efficient care to patients presenting with urgent medical conditions. This is a 13-week renewable contract position for day shifts, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

Perform triage assessments to quickly identify and prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition.
Administer medications, provide treatments, and assist physicians during procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their overall condition, and intervene promptly in case of changes or emergencies.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Document patient information, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
Utilize the Meditech charting system for efficient documentation and communication.
Operate the Omnicell-Med system for medication management and dispensing.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-care and wellness.

Requirements:

Current and unrestricted New York (NY) RN license in hand.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
Proficiency in Meditech charting system.
Experience with the Omnicell-Med system for medication management.
Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities in emergency situations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the healthcare team and provide patient-centered care.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Triage experience.
Experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
Compliance with facility guidelines requires the COVID-19 vaccine. No exemptions.
