Location: Gainesville, FL
Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Rotating Weekends

Compensation:

2 Years of Experience: $30.69/hour
5 Years of Experience: $33.71/hour
17+ Years of Experience: $43.20/hour
Shift Differentials:
- Nights: Additional $4.25/hour
- Weekends: Additional $3.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
Relocation Assistance: $2,500–$5,000 for candidates relocating from 100+ miles away

Position Overview

We are currently hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary team in Gainesville, FL. This role involves providing care to patients requiring specialized pulmonary treatment in a fast-paced acute care setting. Nurses on this unit play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and collect comprehensive data related to the patient’s health status
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on treatments, procedures, and medications
Promote patient safety and effective use of healthcare resources
Ensure quality care that aligns with our patient-focused model

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years)
Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact License (required)
Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required before start date
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hire

Additional Requirements

Comfortable managing a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Must live within a 60-minute commute of Gainesville, FL
In-person interview required, including a shadow session and facility tour
