Job Title: ER Registered Nurse

Location: Waycross, GA 31501

Shift: Full-time, Nights (12-hour shifts with weekend rotation)

Salary: $54,870-$82,285/year based on experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As an ER Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care to achieve positive outcomes. Responsibilities:

Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, exam preparation, providing general nursing care, and coordinating testing and admissions.
Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions, ensuring their understanding and compliance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and examination findings.
Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and follow established protocols.
Ensure that patients’ rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when necessary.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care and achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing is required.
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice or hold a Compact/Multi-State RN license.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
Preferred certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS).
Previous hospital-setting Registered Nurse experience is required.
