Lead Respiratory Therapist (Nights - Rotating Weekends)

📍 Location: Florida
🕒 Full-time | Permanent | Night Shift
💰 Pay: $31.12 - $36.95/hr (based on experience)
💵 Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 | 💼 Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
💲 Shift Differentials: Nights: +$2.33/hr | Weekends: +$2/hr

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced acute care setting. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with respiratory conditions while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
✔️ Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy needs.
✔️ Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
✔️ Initiate, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation.
✔️ Assist with artificial airway placement and ensure airway integrity during emergencies.
✔️ Transport ventilator-dependent patients as needed.

Qualifications

🔹 Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Active State License Required
🔹 Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
🔹 Minimum 5 Years of Experience (Acute, LTAC, or other settings accepted)
🔹 Certifications (must obtain within required timeframe if not current):

BCLS, ACLS, PALS (within 30 days of hire)
NRP (within 60 days of hire)
