Salary: Ranges from $132k to $163k with a 15% Director Bonus Incentive.

The facility is recognized for its advanced services, including a Level III NICU, Kidney Transplant Center, and a dedicated institute for Robotic Surgery.

Job Description: The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for leading the perioperative team, ensuring safe patient care, and effectively managing operations. This role requires a focus on patient care quality, operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate identification of problems and implement solutions.
Participate in various committees, representing the service department.
Enhance the customer experience in Surgical Services.
Adhere to all Human Resource policies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies.
Oversee a PI program that consistently monitors and evaluates critical aspects of care.
Support new program strategies and/or program enhancements.
Ensure fiscal management of the department.
Strive to make the facility the OR of Choice for various stakeholders.
Adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

Qualifications:

Education: BSN (required), Master's degree (preferred).
License/Certification: Registered professional nurse license (required), CNOR and CSSM (preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role or equivalent.

Ideal Candidate: A professional with director-level experience, proven process improvement strategies, and a desire to advance in their career.

Reports to the Administrative Director of Surgical Services.
Direct reports include various managerial roles.
The facility is planning expansions and the initiation of new programs.
