Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)

Job Description: Join our team for a challenging and rewarding night shift position (3 days a week) in med-surg/ER . This role requires expertise in emergency nursing, and you'll be working from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. In this role, you'll be floating between med-surg and ER, offering crucial support to our team.

Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in various stages of illness or injury. Your responsibilities will include:

Emergency Patient Care: Administering timely and accurate medications, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the well-being of patients in critical conditions.
Triage and Assessment: Assessing patients, prioritizing their needs, and initiating appropriate interventions.
Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborating with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Emergency Procedures: Performing emergency medical procedures, such as intubation, defibrillation, and wound care, following established protocols.
Documentation: Accurately documenting patient information, medical histories, and interventions in electronic health records.
Patient Education: Educating patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and aftercare instructions.
Compliance: Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

Experience: 3 years in ER or med-surg
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC and ENPC preferred
Vaccination: COVID-19 Vaccine Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Pay Rate: $54.00/hr
Overtime Multiplier: 1.5% for 40 total hours in 1 week
Additional Pay:
- Charge Nurse: $5.00/hr
- On Call: $10.00/hr
- Call Back: 1.5%
- Holiday: 1.5% (Observed Holidays: New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Important Notes:

All hours are billable.
Floating: You will be floating between med-surg and ER if possible.
Credentialing/Compliance: Need 1.5 weeks/10 calendar days + Quick Starts okay from Booking to Start.
