Position: StaRN RN Nurse Residency Program (NEW GRADS)

Type: Full-Time, Rotating Weekends
Start Dates: June 26th, August 7th, October 16th, November, December, January, February
Salary: $27.50/hr + Shift Differentials ($3.25 for nights, $4.50 for weekends)
Sign-On Bonus: $10K (2-year commitment), $15K for Med-Surg Candidates ONLY
Relocation Assistance: $5K (2-year commitment)

Program Overview:
The StaRN (Specialty Training Apprenticeship for Registered Nurses) program is a unique opportunity for new graduates or nurses with less than 6 months of experience in SNF/LTC. This PAID residency program spans approximately 1 year and offers intensive training in the Medical Surgical and Intensive Care Unit settings.
Key Features:
- Comprehensive training with a mix of didactic, simulation, and hands-on sessions.
- Clinical preceptorship with monthly seminars and routine check-ins.
- Opportunities in various specialty areas including Med Surg, Surgical Oncology, Trauma Med, Neuro Medical, Ortho Spine, and more.
- Completion of an evidence-based capstone project.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school (ASN or BSN).
- Current Kansas RN license.
- BLS certification.
- True new grad status with no hospital experience. Candidates with up to 6 months in SNF/LTC will be considered.
