🔍 Job Summary and Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Licensure/Certification:
- ARRT certification required.
- ARRT - CT Technology Certification within 6 months of hire.
- BLS Health Care Provider certification from American Heart Association.
- Experience: One year as a CT technologist preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
✅ Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans following established protocols; adjust protocols as needed.
- Comply with radiation safety guidelines; utilize personal protective equipment.
- Efficiently operate CT scanner and perform necessary computer operations.
- Provide professional and courteous patient care.
- Prepare examination rooms, monitor supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
- Assist radiologists with administering medication, contrast agents, and biopsies.
- Review exams for technical accuracy and complete verification process.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and complete personal educational requirements.
