Your Role as a CT Technologist

As a CT Technologist , you’ll perform advanced imaging procedures to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Imaging Procedures:

  • Perform CT scans and other radiology examinations with precision, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
  • Verify physician orders before completing exams and follow established protocols for invasive procedures.

• Patient Care:

  • Prioritize patient comfort, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the process.
  • Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor with patients, families, and medical staff.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all “call result” exams are sent to the Radiologist immediately after completion.
  • Report equipment malfunctions promptly and perform tube warm-ups as needed.

• Operational Responsibilities:

  • Stock necessary supplies at the beginning and end of each shift and advise supervisors of supply needs.
  • Document accurate patient information and perform venipuncture according to protocol.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values while complying with policies and ethical standards.

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience: At least 1 year of CT experience required (acute care experience not mandatory).
• Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Certifications:
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
  • ARRT (R) & (CT) registry preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Skills: Strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Passion: A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high imaging standards.
