Role and Responsibilities:

🚑 Perform invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures, ensuring clinical competency and commitment to patient care.
📋 Facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care, using proper hand-off communications.
💉 Assist with all aspects of catheterization and other related procedures, from patient transport to post-procedure care.
📊 Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records; complete all paperwork associated with procedures.
🤝 Demonstrate flexibility, organized and function well under stressful situations; participate in emergency response within the cath lab.

Qualifications:

🎓 Preferred credentials: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
❤️ Required: American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
💼 Required: Significant experience in catheterization lab operations, preferably with scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating capabilities.
🕒 Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Daytime, with weekend and holiday call obligations.

Additional Information:

For a technician with 1 year of experience:

The base hourly rate is approximately $39.25.
With a night differential (10%), the rate goes up to about $43.17 per hour.
On weekends, the rate is approximately $41.25 per hour.

For a technician with 20 years of experience:

The base hourly rate is approximately $57.18.
With a night differential (10%), the rate goes up to about $62.90 per hour.
On weekends, the rate is approximately $59.18 per hour.

🚨 On-call responsibilities required, with competitive on-call rates and time-and-a-half for call-backs.
🕒 Facility operates with high-tech equipment and sees an average of 4-6 procedures daily.
