Job Title: Director of Emergency Services

Shift: Full-Time

Salary: $120,000/year + Bonus Incentives

About Us: We're in search of an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead our dedicated team in providing exceptional patient care. As Director of Emergency Services, you'll be a vital part of ensuring high-quality care, managing resources, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Identify and address challenges in the Emergency Services department with clear, effective solutions.
Actively participate in committees, representing the department and fostering ongoing communication.
Elevate the patient experience within the Emergency Department.
Coach and provide feedback to team members, facilitating their professional development.
Adhere to Human Resource policies and effectively communicate departmental information.
Build strong relationships and networks to achieve organizational goals.
Monitor and enforce emergency department care standards, ensuring consistent compliance.
Develop, implement, and evaluate an ongoing emergency services program aligning with our hospital's mission.
Monitor compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies.
Oversee a performance improvement program.
Maintain operational excellence, delivering quality services in line with policies and professional standards.
Seek new program strategies and enhancements.
Manage fiscal resources and ensure their proper utilization.
Demonstrate a poised and confident demeanor, earning respect within and outside the organization.
Develop and maintain strategic external networks.
Promote exceptional patient service.
Practice and adhere to the organization's "Code of Conduct" philosophy.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in nursing (required).
Master’s degree in healthcare administration (MHA), Nursing (MSN), Business Administration (MBA), or related field (preferred).
Experience as a Director of Emergency Services in a hospital setting (required).
Current registered professional nurse license in the state of practice (required).
ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and BLS certifications (required).
Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management, and regulatory/accreditation standards (preferred).

Additional Benefits:

22.5% bonus incentive based on performance.
$10,000 sign-on bonus.
